June 6, 2011 -
So far this year we have 2 Boyne races in at Berlin raceway,
finishing 3rd and 4th. One CRA race, that we didn't only
get a few laps in and was caught up in someone else's mis
-fortune turned into our mis-fortune. As they say, "that's
racing". Jordan has also raced two Modified races for Big
Show Motorsports, finishing 5th after a flat tire on lap 12
started at the back of 19 cars and raced his way back to 5th.
That was fun to watch. Also, yesterday he raced a USA
Modified race at Kalamazoo Speedway, finished 6th. Lots of
fun racing for this team, love Mark, Allyson and the entire
crew. Thank you!
January 29, 2011
- The plans for the 2011 Racing season is to race the new
Boyne Series at Berlin Raceway and the new CRA Jegs/All Star
Series, with the GM Crate Motors. We will also run a few
of the regular CRA Series races. Schedule to be updated
for the 2011 season soon.
December , 28,2010
- With the new year right around the corner, Dahlke Motorsports
is getting ready to put it in high gear. Checking the 2011
racing season schedules, and also planning the work schedules to
make sure Larry can help out some of the teams he does some work
for and making sure we have enough time to get our own cars
ready to go.
Got the new pole
building done was able to move some equipment around and Larry
and Jordan actually have room to move and work effectively
again.
August 28, 2010
- (hopefully this computer with work long enough to update
the website, need to move the files for the website from this
old desktop to our laptop). Since the last update, much
has happened. We had a feature win at Kalamzoo on August
7th and last week we had our car just about destroyed, and that
is all I will say about that. BS Motorsports is having an
awesome year with a total of 5 feature wins at 2 different
tracks, within a 7 week window. Getting ready to head out
for a great night of racing with the BS Motorsports team.
Good luck Jordan and Brian!
August 4. 2010
- So far during this season Jordan has had one win at Berlin
Raceway June 26 in the MOD and a few seconds, several thirds and
forths. He is sitting 5th in points at Berlin, even though
we are not running for points and have missed a few races at
that track, but are having a blast racing at Berlin, Kalamazoo
and we also went to Owosso on a whim one Saturday morning.
May 2,2010 -
Sorry about the lack of updating the website. The computer has
had nothing but problems and is the only one we can access the
website on. We raced at Berlin this weekend (May 1st) in a
modified for BS MotorSports (thanks Mark & Allison) and had a
blast! We qualified 5th fastest and finished 4th in the race. It
felt great to get back on the track racing once more. Next
weekend (May 8th) we will be racing again at Berlin and hope to
see you there!
July 19, 2009
- After some very unfortunate circumstances, we once again have
to re-adjust the schedule. Please check often for updates.
There will be deletions (ARCA) and additions (hopefully) to the
schedule.
July 3, 2009-
A Better day a Berlin on the 20th. It is starting to feel
a little bit like home at Berlin. We have two more races
there this season, one in the ARCA car (if we can get it
finished) and another in the CRA car. We had a good race and finished 9th!
Larry is doing a lot of work in the shop on his own and with
only one set of hands, it takes longer to get things done.
So hopefully he and Jordan can get the ARCA car wrapped up and
shaken down before the 25th.
June 18, 2009
- Last Wednesday, Jordan made his way to Marne to race at Berlin
Raceway. He had a tough time with the car during qualifying, so
he started the race at the back of the pack. But, he charged his
way up the field, and ended up finishing 10th overall and
received the "Hard Charger Award". His next
planned race is back at Berlin on the 20th. Hope to see you
there.
June 17, 2009
- Had to take Bristol off the schedule. Not because
we didn't want to race there, but ASA took it off the schedule.
That is one race we were looking forward to going to. Not
sure what we will replace with it, if at all. Stay tuned!
May 28,2009 -
Jordan finally graduated from High School last week Thursday the
21st. A very exciting night for Jordan. This past
weekend we raced at Grundy County in Morris, IL and it was one
of those nights that the yellow flag was thrown alot. Then
it was finally thrown for Jordan with 10 laps to go. He
just got up to 8th place right after a restart and tagged the
backstretch wall when he got a little loose and that was the end
of our night. Very disappointing with all the cautions we
managed to dodged the entire night. As they say, "That's
Racing and better luck next time".
May 7, 2009 -
Check the schedule for changes. Added Wednesday June 10 at
Berlin to the schedule and had to take off May 17 at Toledo in
the ARCA car. Jordan graduates on May 21 and he skipped racing
last weekend to go to his senior prom. Didn't want to miss prom
again.
April 26, 2009
- We raced at Toledo Speedway in the Northern ASA series opener
yesterday. We finished 10th out of 27 cars in the starting
line up, it was a blistering hot weekend with practice on Friday
and racing on Saturday. It seemed nice to be back at a
track and going 100 mph doing what we love to do. RACE!!!
April 5, 2009
- Dahlke Motorsports will be heading to Kzoo for practice
Saturday April 12th. Hoping to bring the ASA and the ARCA
cars down to put a few laps on them. We have changed the
race schedule some so be sure that you check the schedule often
before jetting off to watch Jordan race. We wouldn't want
you to get someplace and not find him there. We have a
pretty busy spring with Jordan graduating from high school in
about 6 weeks. We took the May 2nd race off the schedule
so Jordan can go to prom this year. Last year he raced the
weekend of prom, but has decided not to this year. We are
pretty excited about our season coming up, with the new car and
a few races in the ARCA and CRA series. Of course the
majority of his races are still in the ASA series. We race
at Berlin 3 times this year, once in each class. So if you
find you can't get out of town to see him, stop on up to Berlin
and come down after the races. We love talking with the
fans. We are hoping not to change any of the other races
on the schedule, but our budget is limited and sponsors are hard
to find these days. If you know of any business that is
looking to sponsor a race team, please contact Larry at
Dahlkemotorsports@yahoo.com.
Hope to see you at
the track!
Feb 17, 2009 -
The shop is clean and the ARCA car is on the hoist.
Without the Race for Kids Sake competition this winter, it's
been quiet. The fun competition has been missed, but at
the same time it has been nice. It's hard to believe that
the Daytona race is already done and we'll be racing in about 2
months. Time sure does fly! The schedule is done,
subject to change, depending on where Larry wants to race off
to. We have 4 new tracks that Jordan has not ever raced at
on the schedule this year. That's always exciting! :)
Taylor, Jordan's sister, has been doing some Arena Racing this
winter, and has been doing pretty good. Sunday she won the
C Main and then started 2nd in the Top Dog Race. She
didn't fair so well in that race. It was the first time I
have seen her on her roof. oops! She is done racing the
indoor arena racing for the season, but possible will be racing
at Kalamazoo Speedway this summer in the Sportsman Class.
It is just a racing rumor right now, but sounds promising.
Dec 13, 2008 -
Putting the interior in the new ASA car today that Larry and Jordan
have been building. Planning to get that car on the track
some in
the 2009 season, but Larry is very fond of his Howe car.
Nov 29, 2008 -
Went to Indianapolis to the auction at the Indiana Convention
Center and bought an ACRA short track car from the Great Clips
team. Going to get some seat time doing laps and planning
on racing 3 ARCA/REMAX series races in the 2009 series.
Nov 8, 2008 -
Preparing race cars for the 2009 season. Also working on
sponsorship for next year. The 2008 race season was a
challenging one without a primary sponsor, but hoping to change
that for next season.
Oct 18, 2008 -
Last race of the year. Some unfortunate incidents at the
Boyne had Jordan starting at the tail of the feature. It
was a very cold race night. The car went away with about
30 laps to go, which means it was difficult to drive.
Although it was not one of our better nights, Jordan started
28th and finished 14th. That gave him the "Hard Charger
Award," for advancing the most positions in the race. That
was a nice bonus.
Aug 26, 2008 -
Still working on finishing both cars! Hopefully they'll be
done soon! :)
Aug 9, 2008 -
WOW!!! That's the only word that describes Bristol.
What an awesome place. We are hoping to go back in a
couple of weeks to watch the Cup cars race. It's a very
exciting place. A little history before I go into what
happened at Bristol. It goes with out saying that Jordan
has had a little bit of a rough season this year. Jordan had
never crashed a race car or even spun one out on his own...until
this year. You might say, he hadn't raced enough the prior
3 seasons, but I think so. He raced a full season of Pure
Stocks then a full season of Outlaw Late Models, where there
were always 25 to 35 cars weekly in the Late Model class.
You could say he ran around at the back of the pack, but that
wasn't the case either, he finished 10th place in points and was
Rookie of the Year in the late model class and finish 3rd and
was Rookie of the year in the Pure Stock class also. I
would say he's been very blessed! He is still blessed.
The 2008 season has been very educational for Dahlke Motorsports
and still we can say we have had fun, even if we have had a few
wrecked cars this season. So, I bet you know I'm going to
say that we wrecked this past weekend at Bristol. We did,
twice. Once in practice on our own, and once during the
race, with a lot of help. At the time, Jordan was running
2nd, and he said the car was good. He felt he could have
challenged the leader a few times during the first 100 laps, but
his crew chief (dad), was telling him to, "just ride, let
him open the holes, it's a long race, we don't have to be there
until the end." I so wish that the car behind us was being
told the same thing, but it was very obvious that he wasn't, and
he wasn't content to, "just ride" this early in the race.
Needless to say, our car is pretty much junk. It's true,
Bristol does eat race cars. We did have a great car, was
on the top of the list after the first practice session.
Then when we were doing a mock qualifying run, and put it in the
wall, the crew, (thanks Goo, Dad, Holly and Gary, and the help of the
Finley Race Team) after 5 hours had the car back together and
ready to go the next morning. Qualified 8th out of I
believe 31 cars, and started on the pole. It was really
cool, and although it doesn't have a happy ending, it was
another educational weekend and we can definetly say that we
learned a few things from the experience.
Now the bad news, we
have two wrecked race cars in the shop and a new one that is not
put together yet. We are way over our budget already this
year, because we didn't get the primary sponsor that we were
hoping for. Not sure if or when we will be back this year.
But if I know Larry and Jordan, we will try! See ya at the
races, with or without a car!
July 29, 2008
- ASA Late Model car going to Bradford White Annual Car Show
today; visiting with the community. Working on finishing Outlaw
Late Model car to finish and race locally between ASA shows.
July 19, 2008
- Things were looking great at Salem. The high banks didn't seem
to bother Jordan much. In the last practice session on Friday,
Jordan was third fastest. Qualified 10th, was running 6th with
40 laps to go when a large chunk of asphalt from the track
lodged itself into Jordan's radiator. The damage was too great
to fix and the 37 had to call it a night. Finished a
disappointing 14th, but the car is in one piece, which is always
a good thing. Looking forward to Bristol.
July 12, 2008
- Bummer at Berlin! The night started off well but half way
through the race Jordan and another driver got up close and
personal to the front wall! So it's back to the shop to
repair the late model we just put the motor in. :(
Hopefully this weekend at Salem will go smoother.
July 4, 2008
- Due to schedule changes we will not be racing at I-70 this
weekend. Hopefully will be making it to more local races.
June 28, 2008
- Finally some good luck came back!! We had a great day at
Mansfield and finished 8th!! Hopefully this streak will
continue! Thanks for all the help and support!
June 14, 2008
- Hurray for a home track!! We had a great night at berlin,
Qualified 12th and finished 9th! Hope to see you at our next
race where we plan on more top ten finishes!! Or even more wins!
:)
May 24, 2008
- Well we're not setting the world on fire, but we are learning
a lot and having fun!! We finished 16th this weekend at Grundy
county.
May 17, 2008
- After fixing our motor troubles we took the car down to
Kalamazoo Speedway! Nothing to brag about, but nothing to
complain about. We finished 6th in our heat race and 13th in the
A feature. The car ran well and we had fun!!
May 10, 2008
- Jordan's first time at Berlin Raceway we got our second
checkered of the year at in our heat race. We were just
really starting to get used to the track but had motor troubles
and had to pull the car in around lap 30. :( We hope to
be back at Berlin June 14th for the ASA Challenge series.
May 3, 2008
- Kalamazoo Speedway rained out :(
April 25, 2008

By Matt Prieur-ASA Late Model Series

Dahlke won the GM Performance Parts Shootout to transfer into
the GunBroker.com 100 Presented by ASI Limited, the first race

Division Presented by GM Performance Parts.
The Middleville, Michigan driver took the lead on Lap One
after a major 5-car pile-up on the opening lap.
Dahlke moved up to the outside of the front row on the
restart and immediately took the lead from new pole-sitter, Josh
Cave on the start! From their, the Middleville, Michigan
teenager walked away with over a 2 1/2 second lead on Cave to
score the win and the coveted 25th starting spot in the
GunBroker.com 100 Presented by ASI Limited.
“This is really exciting to be able to win any race in this
ASA Late Model Series, especially here at O’Reilly Raceway
Park!” The excited teenager said in victory lane. “My Mom, Dad make this all possible for me, and I can’t thank them
enough!” He ended.
